To answer various questions - mostly why the turquoise hands - well obviously I prepared some dyeing last night: These pictures do the colour no justice - it is a really bright turquoise blue! More like this.....
The bowl of wet fabrics......
the first batch out on the line this morning (OK its not very hot but it is quite windy) - they all went in the same colour and were - white cotton, hessian, open weave hessian and net!! 
even a small piece of polyester satin (which sneaked in) dyed too - although it is deliciously pale!!
Today there are various pieces of lace, net
cheesecloth, cotton dishcloth and scrim in a new dye pot of the same colour. 
What am I going to do? Well there is the seed of a new tutu growing in my head!! Just wish I had the fabrics ready NOW NOW NOW !!!!
