Feeding the Creative Spirit
I have just finished my Free Machine Zentagle piece but it is getting a little dark to take photos so I will show you it tomorrow. For the moment - not only have I received the latest issues of Quilting Arts and Cloth Paper Scissors (mine are a little late as I get them on a direct sub from USA) but I will show you what I have bought in the last two days to inspire my creative spirit. Firstly the latest Vogue Magazine, then a copy of the latest issue of Sew Magazine from Stampington, and their new Journaling Magazine and the Nov/Dec issue of Belle Armoire. In the past I have owned, read and worked through all of Julia Cameron's books, then I sold all my copies when I was in a low mood. So in order to add to the list of ideas I am using to re-inspire my creativity I have purchased the Complete Collection. This is a lovely bound book and houses the the books: The Artists Way, Walking in This World and Finding Water. The only one it does not contain is The Vein of Gold, no matter I have this rather thick volume to work through again.

Those magazines look inspiring, Anna, especially the Sew Stampington (I see Ruth Rae is on the cover and I love her work, am watching out for a book she is publishing later this year!).
Just wondering - do you get your Stampington mags on subscription, or buy them in the UK? They are so expensive - I'd like to buy the odd one or two, wish they were stocked at normal newsagents so we could have a quick look at them first before we decided which ones to buy...
And btw, I gave away my Julia Cameron books too and now wish I hadn't. May look on Amazon for the book you've now got.
I love the Julia Cameron book, I think I have all of them. Don't remember to do my morning pages but maybe tomorrow.
