I was absolutely exhausted after the two hours of hand drawing. However I can't wait until next week. She (as most people) say we need to practice - that is what is missing!! Her way of expressing it was - did you play an instrument as a child - I said Yes - so she said " Well then!" I knew exactly what she meant - PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. I think ' I don't know what to draw' but the idea is, of course, to draw anything and everything!! I will do so. On Friday evening I passed the library and took out this book... to help! Is it ' THE COMPLETE IDIOT' (ie me) 'S guide to or is it THE COMPLETE (as in whole) 'idiot's guide ????? :-)

Drawing
When I was little my art teacher had told me that I could not draw and that I should do something else so I went into textiles and did not 'draw' again. I have drawn but I have no confidence in my drawing and started a drawing class on Thursday to get the confidence and to be taught the skills of drawing. Our tutor is brilliant - but she tortured us for the two hours by making us draw our hand in order that she could assess our ability - here are my four pieces....
