Postcard question

Ladies, thanks again for your comments - I am in the process of designing the next 4 Postcards but have a question - someone at my office (I was showing off again!!) asked if I would sell the postcards - as I am so very new to this game could anyone advise me as to the typical price for one.

Also ATC's how small are they? Are they the same principle - swapping rather than posting but still tiny pieces of art to share?

I've never sold a PC, I've seen some for sale on etsy, you could compare prices there. ATC's are 2.5" by 3.5", the same size as a card from deck of playing cards. I've seen some people sell ATC's, the ones for sale are called ACEO's, can't remember what this stands for at the moment. But typically ATCs are for trading.

Take a look at Liz Plummers blog 'Dreaming Spirals', she sells her wonderful postcards. Her blog is at:

Postcards seem to have been set at $30 due to the Houston Quiltart Fundraiser efforts---standard now by the feel of things--and you only trade ATC's--wanna? :}

Houston fundraiser sold PCs for $30 each (approx £15). I've seen them on Etsy for as low as $8 (approx £4). I think it depends on the amount of work you put into them - definately more if you have done handwork or are asked to create a card on commission (ie to a stated theme).
ATCs are for trade only sized 2.5" x 3.5". Although people make ACEOs which are basically the same as ATCs, but sold. Do a search on eBay and you'll find loads!!
Hope that helps :)

I sell them on Etsy for $5-20 depending on complexity. They sell fairly well.

ATCs don't really sell for me~ I think I have only sold one for a few dollars. They are suppose to be traded so few people buy them, or so it seems to me.

Good luck to you!
