Day 14 - Star Trek

Felt a bit better this morning and as I have no direct boss or office assistant at the moment (both retired at Christmas) and I'd booked my remaining office helper on a first aid course - I thought I'd best struggle into the office, make a brave effort - what a martyr I am. Actually - although I was very, very busy I did feel better, less full of flu by the end of the day - I know I've not spread my germs because most of the people at work have either already had this horrible cold/flu or are suffering like me now!! The only real downside is that it's not helping my recovery.

Did anyone 'get' today's title then? Star Trek - remember 7 of 9 ? ooh ha ha - OK well, I'm not well !! That means only two more felt pieces to go! Hooray ! I must admit I'm getting fed up with the sorbello stitching now. So for number 7 I covered the felt and original sorbello stitch with a piece of gold organza and stitched the heart pattern on my machine, then zapped it with the heat tool - you can just make out the original sorbello (the blue areas). Having zapped it I then free machined my usual heart in glitzy zigzag.
I think I may make more like this for the artsnthemail group swap.
