This is the last of the series of 9 felt based pieces with sorbello stitch and is in fact my favourite - this was first stitched with the nylon ribbon over the original felt/sorbello combination then painted with white emulsion (VCH method) then black ink to make it go grey. (Left) Over the top of that I rubbed some interference gold acrylic (brand: GOLDEN) and stitched fine gold threads. To top it off I added jet black sorbello stitches which from a distance look like voids but are not! Very Clever!!
Once I had finished that card I started the prep for another series - this time only three and a different base - so that's another three days taken into account.

This looks lovely Anna, thanks for posting a link to sorbello stitch earlier. I've added it to my list of things to try, unfortunately the list is LONG at the moment, lol!
