What yet more Tyvek

I'm sorry but I'm so excited by the results I am getting with this Tyvek melting that I just have to share: Cutting by folding and snipping, melting on the white side to get bubbles and v quickly on the coloured side to make holes - like lace...
Then another piece snipped and ironed from the white side - just love the pattern
This is a good pic of the shapes
but this is a better one of the colour.... just love this piece!!!!!
If anyone has not used Tyvek before and would like some please let me know- I do have rather a large quantity ..... I will then send you a piece of Envelope (approx 11" x 8) un-painted, a piece about 11" x 4 painted and a couple of pieces of melted so that you get the idea of how it can turn out, bearing in mind it really depends on the heat of your iron or if you use a heat tool.

I love the shapes that you are getting. I have never played with Tyvek, but I think I might have to try. I have a couple mailing envelopes that that I pick up at the Post Office before Christmas, but I have yet to get to them. I will have to add snipping before melting to my mental list of things to try. Too many fun things on that list!!!!

Wow you have been busy. What a great idea to cut it first before heating. I bought a couple of pieces to experiment with a while ago and wasted most of it because I wasn't sure what was supposed to happen with it but I finally got a few small pieces with a nice effect on them. I'd love a piece of your melted one to see how it turns out.
