Emotional venting

I've been up all night - not able to sleep - on that emotional downward slide! The office job finally pushed me over the edge yesterday. Won't bore you with the details suffice it to say I wrote a long email, (just now at 5.15 am!) from home, to my 'boss' venting my frustration emotionally and requesting no comment or further discussions! It's very difficult to type whilst crying!!! Right now I feel much better, have dried the tears and freshened up, but I am a little 'scared' about going into the office!! I must go as I have some very important meetings to deal with!

I hope by having vented to him and you (my supportive blogging friends) that I have hit the bottom of this pit and will now be able to aim back upwards. My plan for tonight (on returning from work) is to:
a) prepare the box loads of stuff I need to take to the Heirlooms course which starts on Friday night and then
b) make a small piece of art.

As many of you have commented (and emailed me off blog) the making of small piece of art should be just what I NEED. I must do it! I will write again tonight to tell you how I get on.

Thanks for your continued support!

PS - RUSTING - for those of you who have asked about my latest rust dyeing - the piece was made by coiling a fine rusty wire and squashing it under an old tin can, which I had also been rusting to get the fine lines on the previous pieces!! There my secret is out!

:Your job must be awful, or the people involved. I'm glad you are taking a course this weekend-something to balance the negative parts. Sandy

Many of us have been there with the crazy boss or co-workers. In my situation, the low point involved a flying stapler. Thankfully my situation allowed me to quickly give my notice and move on. Hopefully things will be turning around soon.

Anna, keep your chin up, don't let your nasty boss grind you down. Hopefully your point of view will be taken into account now you've sent that email. It's horrible working somewhere that you don't enjoy (ask me how I know!). I'm sure something better is just round the corner for you.
