A bit of fun and a barter/exchange

Thanks to all who have commented on my current work - the rust dyeing.

The bit of fun - I have just found this link on Gail P's blog and if you are like me - enjoy old school music you may like to watch this video.

Barter/Exchange - yesterday whilst doing the distraction technique of sorting out the studio again I came across a box of threads which I never use as they are really meant for edging using an overlocker. I don't have an overlocker, but I had bought them last year at a garage sale, because the man who sold them said that they would work fine through my sewing machine. Well they do if you have a large eyed needle or use them in the bobbin, as they do shred a little. I know I will never use them again - So if you are the proud owner of an overlocker or fancy trying them I am happy to swap with you. There are 7 light blue, 2 darker blue, 2 red, 1 green and 1 pink up for exchange. (The gold has already been snapped up). They are large cones , as can be seen by the coffee mug photo for scale - some labelled 5000 metres, some 7500 metres and one of the darker blues has been used so has less. Email me if you are interested.

Anna, can't the threads be used in bobbins, and done from the bottom as "couching"? Seems like a lot of thread to get rid of! :}
