Home - Sick

The cold/flu seems to have got worse since my jaunt out on Saturday so much so that I came home from work at lunchtime yesterday - went to bed at about 6pm and did not get up until 11 this morning when the postman rang the door bell - more of that below!! (Did get up during the night loads when I had to blow my nose, go to the bathroom, drink fluids and throw the covers off, so am not 'rested' at all !!). Doctor today said there is not a lot he could do to help - take pain killers, drink lots, do steam inhalations and take it easy for the rest of the week. No antibiotics yet?!!

So I'm taking it easy - home sick.

I have looked at my art stuff but feel too rough to do anything. Can't sleep so will just veg on the sofa looking at books and making lists of things I want to do!.

The postman ---- he had a parcel - which has brightened up my day ---- from my rust challenge. These pieces are from Sammy - in her note she says that she did not think the rust fabric showed up well in this wonderful cone so she made the heart with rust fabric and music paper. Both are wonderful - thanks Sammy
