I AM STILL HERE !!

I know it's been a few days since I last posted but I have been busy doing NOTHING!! Seriously every day I have had great intentions to do 'stuff' be it homework, art work or even writing the list of things to do but every day I have sat like a moron in front of the TV, web surfing and doing NOTHING! Do I feel guilty? - YES. I know some of you will comment and say - 'you need the time to 'just be'' but I 'am' all the time and need to give myself that boot again !!

I have an apology to make to Natalya - my neighbour came round with an evelope - she had met our postman, down the street, a few days ago and offered to take my post rather than letting him deliver it as usual and then had promptly forgotten to give it to me!! It was addressed correctly etc and was not even too big for the letter box etc , so I'm not sure really why she had offered to help!! So sorry Natalya THANK YOU! When I opened the envelope I found this........ A very delicate package wrapped in Twinkle Organza... When I opened that there was a little card and this wonderful super fine transparent piece. It is absolutely beautiful and very very delicate! THANK YOU so much.Today's post (which I did have to collect from the Post Office) is also delightful. I am about to take part in the Art in a Carton swap and have received the first carton from the organiser - Susan - it is labeled as carton #5/52 so I feel honourerd and the contents -- well..... inside there are two Susan's matchbox treasure boxes - a fantastic idea but what makes them even more special for me -is the three box piece has Klimt pictures inside - Klimt - my favourite artist!!!! The final piece in the box is this lovely picture/frame piece. I love the way it stands and the lovely lady you see through the hole. My job now is to decorate three cartons, send one back to Susan, one on to another player whose name is in the carton and a third who I need to enlist to take part. It is going to take me some time to do the decorating and creating and the last one is giong to be hard as many of the people I could ask I know are very busy at present and I don't want anyone to feel obliged to join me in this great swap.

I would also like to thank the 108 of you who have so far commented on the One World One Heart giveaway. It is such a boost to my confidence knowing how many of you like my work!! So thanks to all!! I have also had great fun looking at the blogs of the others taking part (and of course entering their draws too - fingers crossed I win something, as all the work is absolutely fabulous!!).Depending on the total number of comments on 13th I think I will get someone from work to choose a number between 1 and 108 (or more if necessary) and then just scroll my way down the list of comments until I reach the chosen numbered comment. That is the fairest way I think as it would take me ages to write out 108 names on pieces of paper !!!!!!
