Soul Journal

Recently I started the Soul Journal which Sarah Whitmore was sharing on her blog here. As usual I lost interest after a while - when things do not come out as I see them in my head I get frustrated and give up. Anyway here are the pages I did do - not necessarily in any particular order. Remember my sketchbook is only A5 size. Here is my double page spread of inchies. Here is my 'Soul Armour' - I loved the armour pic I found but did not like the face so I found a Venetian mask which I preferred and there you have it my soul armour. My first page - naming the sketchbook - I only used my first name and I think I may work more on this page but not now. The next two pics are of the silhouette work but I could not really see the pic until I took a photo - you know when something is so close you can't see it! I do like these now!! Here I am only going to show you one side of the two page spread - of my 'home' as I am not happy with the other page - it is really childish. The tall house on the left here is actually a pocket into which we are supposed to put paper dolls of our family - but I don't really like that idea at the moment, so not sure what else to do with these pages. And finally here is another of my favourite spreads - the tape pages. I love these!! I have agreed to take part in the book mark swap that relates to this soul journal project so I am going to be working on that today.
