Taking Stock

I know I put up a teaser earlier today but I have finished the project 'Taking Stock' - so I guess I am showing it to you before anyone has had chance to see the teaser!!

So here it is - called 'Taking Stock' because it is a tutu made from the stocks and shares pages of the Financial Times Newspaper. Closer and Close up Back view of my lacing and finally a view from underneath to show the four different size layers used to make the frill skirt... I think this is one was a challenge but I have really enjoyed making it.

I've just found your site through Magstitch and really enjoy it. The tutu is wonderful and inspiring (read: I've finally had the glimmer of an idea for a doll I've had for about a year now lol).
