Today was my last day at the Council. It was time for me to move on, for personal reasons, which I will not bore you with. What's next? Who knows!! Any way I will miss the team I have worked with for the last two months.
They did take an interest in my art work and also my sort of obsession with re-cycling/re-purposing. Every time the girls went for a coffee break I acquired some of these.......
corrugated cup holders..... and then today I acquired these.....
two bottle of Black Quink (like gold dust these days!!) and these.....
5 old diaries for altering. The four from 2005 were never used (such a waste) and the 2008 only has a few pencilled entries.Zentangles from the last couple of days. The first one I decided I wanted to see if I could 'journal' around it but I am not as happy with the page as I had hoped.
So I went on to create a 'recipe' page - 48 squares -
this is OK but I prefer to work in organic shape filling mode.. like these..... 
This is more like it and there is the gem of an idea brewing!!! :-)

You have gotten me addicted to Zentangles!! Do you have a Thermofax machine? I'm going to do my next Zentangle in India Ink and then make a screen for fabric. Those things are so relaxing and addicting!! thank you!!!
