A Doormouse, Cobweb and a Quiz...

but not necessarily in that order!

QUIZ

Let's start with the quiz - not sure whose blog I found this on but 'What Time of Day are You?' is another one of those fun Internet quizzes to do. Here is my result.....

You Are Midnight

You are more than a little eccentric, and you're apt to keep very unusual habits.

Whether you're a night owl, living in a commune, or taking a vow of silence - you like to experiment with your lifestyle.

Expressing your individuality is important to you, and you often lie awake in bed thinking about the world and your place in it.

You enjoy staying home, but that doesn't mean you're a hermit. You also appreciate quality time with family and close friends.

DOORMOUSE.....

On my walk this morning look who I met..... It was sooooooooooo cute. I stopped for over 20 minutes to watch this little creature very peacefully poking around on the path. It was difficult to take pictures as it moves with very quick movements even though it was wandering around slowly if that makes sense. It was tiny - smaller than my phone screen so I was not sure if any of the 28 pics I took would come out!!

COBWEB
I have finished Cobweb my second Mid Summer Nights Dream Fairy..... Here are a couple of pics.. It looks so much better in real life as you can really see the dimensions. This is the front and this is a side view (here you can see the fact that the panniers/bustle gives the costume a gentle 'bottom' like a spider has). Someone asked the other day how/where I take photos with a black background for my costumes - well here you go..... I will own up - I just drape a piece of soft black fabric over my kitchen door...... (Flash photography makes the black really black!!!!!) PS - there are not enough comments so far on my 500th post for the draw. You only have until the end of the month to comment on that post to be included in the draw.

You must have been very lucky to see a dormouse, they are usually very reclusive aren't they?

Your improvised dark backdrop is very effective.
