Black/Shot Update and Outside

Here are some shots of my current bodice - you can really see the blue in the flash. It has lots more work to go yet - I like the texture so far. No sure about burning it back now because I like the look but then is it a waste of velvet? Outside report - my poor wooden ducks hiding in the snow and what a sunset!!
