Thanks for support

Thanks to your really generous comments on my last post. I agree that having a 'real' job which is not the most exciting does mean my art is special. I put my heart and soul into all the pieces I make and love it. It is that just sometimes I suffer from depression and feel knocked back.

Only a little work going on today as I have the lovely Pug to look after - there has been a death in my daughter's boyfriends family - a very dear relative so they have gone away for the weekend leaving me with the dog. Have you ever tried working when you have this... a pug asleep on your lap - getting pins and needles in my legs from keeping them so still for his nap. - That's my t shirt in the left hand corner!

I thought your workshop idea would have been great but i guess money's tight everywhere. I get a little fed up, certainly when visitors come to the studio, pick your brains for 20 minutes & leave empty handed, not even a little card! I guesss you get knocked down, then you get up again ....

Such a good sitter you are! They can be disturbed, but they make you feel all cozy when they need you like that.
