HELP Needed

As I have said several times recently I a not a quilter and am stuck - I need advise. I have laid out the fabric, the fabric photos printed and paper ideas for Rocky's quilt. Not sure what I do next - do I
a) quilt the fabric layers together - if so how to quilt - what design for the quilting - and then apply the fabric photos and the appliqué name and paw prints or
b) apply them first and then quilt the piece - if so how to quilt - what design for the quilting?
Any quilters out there please give me some advise as soon as you can. Thanks

I would do paw prints for the quilting.

First let me say I am no expert but I would definitely do the applique before I quilt or attach with fusible web and use the blanket applique stitch as my quilting. As far as the pictures are concerned do you plan on quilting through them or do you just want to attach to the finished quilt.

Hi there...hmm it would be easier to apply all you want on the top of your to be quilt first. (at least that has been my experience). For quilting the quilt, maybe use little dog bone-treats. These are not difficult to do in free motion quilting. There is lots of information on the internet about free motion quilting. Practice on some scrap pieces first.Love the pictures by the way, good luck on your endeavor i am sure it will turn out great.
