Giveaway

Firstly I thought I would share with you... my peppers - these have been in my kitchen since the summer and you can see I have lots of yummy peppers ready to eat - they are very tasty roasted - but the amazing thing (at least to me) is that the ones on the right are flowering again!!Next I was very lucky to win a give away from Kate, she makes the loveliest quilts and I love reading her blog to see what she is up to. Anyway Kate was having a clearout (see blog here) and offered a lot of batik arcs to go free to a good home. I was lucky enough to be given them. Seeing them on her blog I had an idea for a sort of non quilt item but was thinking I would have to cut them down - I thought they were big, it was not until I opened the parcel that I saw just how small they are - so very much better for my project idea and amazing all that hand sewing. I will work on it in a while after completing some of my outstanding projects. They are beautiful. THANKS so much Kate.
NOW MY GIVE AWAY - another odd one. I have acquired a whole box of card tags - no longer required by a business (not sure what that particular business ever used these type of tags for)
any way if you would like some please post a comment on this blog - let me know how many you would like and I will try and sent you the number you request until they run out. Please don't ask for several hundred but you can certainly have quite a few!! They are quite small (you can get a rough idea of scale from this photo).
I know people use these things in mixed media art - so my only request would be please if you do want some - let me know what you do with them. Send me photos when you have used them.

Glad you like the arcs and will find them useful - they are about the only thing I've ever hand sewn - I am NOT a big hand-sewer. :) Anyway, I think I could use some of the tags for mixed media ATCs, etc - or maybe just as altered tags. I don't need huge numbers - a couple of handfuls? Let me know if you need my address!

Hi Anna
Am just catching up on my blog reading...... would love some tags please, if you have some to spare. I am always looking for things to do in the studio with the grandchildren.. and these would be great for printing.
Like Kate ... a couple of handfuls would be wonderful.
Many thanks.

I would love some tags but I am a long way off in Australia. Its ok if you don't want to send them that far.

They would be good for adding to a journal or for collage.

Gift cards or place cards on the table.

so many ideas.
