Day 31 - The End of January

So January is over and this is the last of my challenge postcards for January. I was playing with my sewing machine - free machining and tightened the tension on the top as tight as it would go - look at the daisies!! Aren't they great??

- As it happens January had 31 days (how obvious a statement is that!! lol) - well I did a quick count up and over January I have actually made 50 postcards and 7 ATC's wow - how great is that!!! Some have been given away, some swapped, some I'm definitely keeping and some I may decide to try and sell on ETSY.

I'm struggling with the charms I did start- I'd cut out the pieces individually instead of waiting until some one as great as Sue Bleiweiss had put up a 'how to' guide on the CQMagOnline website - now I want to make some charms properly.

This postcard a day challenge has shown me I can be creative again after a creative block and I'd like to thank you all for your support. I now have more textile ideas to try and that the postcard size may be just right to try them out. I have ideas gradually creeping in for larger works but I'm not so sure I'm ready to try a larger scale again just yet.

My new boss (in my 'proper' job) is a nice guy - he's going to be quite a hard task master once he's more comfortable with the firm. My job is going to change over the next year or so, it's going to be hard for me (well it's hard now) but I know I can come home talk to you and create art to de-stress!
