On the mend at last - I think??

As I managed to stay out of bed for few hours yesterday afternoon and I woke at 10 this morning without coughing my socks off - I think I must be on mend! Yesterday I made my first paper ATC - it was small enough not to exhaust me - but I'm not sure if it's any good - I'd really appreciate some feed back before I make any more - so any comments please.....
I had a pre splashed oddment of card onto which I pasted a tiny photo which I have borrowed from Ten Two Studios The Monthly Muse Trial Download - I have ordered their complete 2007 back catalogue! I hope, that once I have watched or read the CD's (?), when they arrive - I will either subscribe or order this years!
Anyway I digress - as I said I added this lovely little girl photo - to me she looks like she is thinking so I added the word 'think' using letters cut out of magazines. Sorry the pic is not too good but the photo being shiny - my flash was reflected.
I added an old Irish postage stamp and gave it all a gentle wash with coffee (my favourite liquid for toning down). Something still missing from this - next step was to stamp with the centre of an old wooden block using Lumiere Halo Pink Gold paint, added the word 'to' and two tiny black flower brads. Pasted this to another piece of card for the back - that's jsut plain with my name, email and a number. (might give the back a quick wash with coffee too - not sure) Gave the whole surface a wash with watered down PVA glue to seal it and Voila..... she's done - I Think ????? Comments and advise please..

Love your first paper ATC. I think this proves you're a natural artist whatever the media :)

Glad to hear you're on the mend - I was sick in January and I'm still recovering! I loved the thistle and would have enjoyed seeing that touch of purple at the end - I still like the composition.

If you can produce this quality when you are not well- I can only imagine what you will do when you are 100%.
Glad you are feeling a bit better now.

Yay, glad you are getting better. Well I'm not an expert on paper ATCs but it looks good to me. You know what they say...practice makes better.
