Today's 5pm sample
I found two lovely threads in my stash that tone in with my Klimt work but have no idea how I could use them. Then whilst watching my daily moronic dose of day time TV (actually I watched Agatha Christie and then Midsommer Murders) it dawned on me that I could use some of the backgrounds I have made to raise the surface. So at 5pm I cut a corner off each of my two smaller samples - OH NO what have I done - spoilt the samples - typical - 'do' without 'thinking' as usual. So I have made yet another sample... Thankfully I do have a small supply of the original materials so all is not lost...before stitching after stitching and zapping - see this time no big spirals or sparkly for the moment. I chopped off 1/3rd of this sample and look what I was thinking... (hope you can see them)...... Now I will think over night how to attach them. I may try something different for each spiral. Oh and I may have to paint the edges as the white under felt shows through but I will worry about that tomorrow - late afternoon. Tomorrow I do have the excuse of not doing artwork until after 3pm because I have TWO interviews - keep your fingers crossed for me.
