Still Stuck
Still here and still suffering from a creative block despite getting loads of ideas last weekend. I have been given two very large, thick rolls of needlecord - one is a deep royal, almost navy blue and the other purple. I could only take a pic of the blue..... I have tried a drop or two of bleach to see what happens and here is the purple. The only thing I need now is some ideas of what to use the fabrics for - NO clothes - I have thought of bags or book covers but I need to do something exciting with the fabric first??

Hi Anna, maybe you can cut open the uplayer 'fabric' and play with a rithm, fill the downlayer with you own stitch. Bookcovers and handbags sounds good! xDorie
Do you have an embellisher? Maybe you could add some fibres?
Hi there, last time I worked with fabric like that. I discharged it, then left it wet and used color wash and rubbings. Then free motion stitched the patterns that it had made and toke it from there, beads etc.
