A little bit of creativity

I have spend the last two days in the studio - hooray - first time in ages!! Only I have spent all day on a mini production line. Why? You ask.
Well I had a brilliant idea the other day. As I am also broke at this time of gift giving - it started as a combination of two thoughts:
Thought 1: My daughter has been asking me to make a small piece of art for her to hang in her flat (once she finally stops moving - she has moved twice in the last week!!!)
and Thought 2: You know when your children are small every Christmas they give their grandparents a calendar for the following year that they make themselves (either at home with me or at school). Well my kids are a little old to do that these days BUT...

I could combine the two ideas and make both my daughter and my mother a Klimt calendar - they would have a piece of my art and something useful. So here it is (not a good pic as the light is rubbish today). They measure A4 in size so the art piece is A5 and there is a reasonable amount of space to make notes!! They can tear the months off and at the end of the year are left with a small piece of art work! Such skill!!
Whilst I was making the two for my loved ones I had a visit from a friend who asked if I would make some for her relatives too - a commission Hooray - she paid me £10 per calendar!! (A fair price she said considering she had looked at commercial calendars in shops like WH Smith and found they were £9 so had not bought any there!!). Good job really!!

Anybody else want one??
