Thanks

Thanks to those of you who commented on my last post. I would love to hold an exhibition of my bodices/corsets/costumes but have not found any galleries local enough to do so. (I lack the confidence to 'sell' myself). I don't know how I would display them (I only have two mannequins).
I have tried the theatres which are within easy reach - no response from Swindon, Salisbury or Bristol and I even tried writing to Andrew Lloyd Webber's company - The Really Useful Group firstly to ask about a tour of the Phantom costumes and then about being a help in costume making and still no answer.

So I have given up !! I need help!!

In the meantime I am going to work on the next projects (and those already started) and create another blog where I will just show the completed works in one place - my website does not want to up load anything these days so a new blog looks the best option. However I need a catchy name for this new blog - any ideas? How about 'A Body of Work'? (actually that's it - I will work on 'A Body of Work')!

Back to work!! Thanks again for your encouraging comments.

sure it is a matter of selling yourself, the body of work is impressive - there is no doubt of that. Maybe you need a good photography session?

Hi Anna,
Your work is very beautiful. I love your bodices/corsets/costumes. The detail is incredible. I know what you mean about organising an exhibition and finding the right venue... It is their loss if these groups can't be bothered to contact you!
Have you considered the organisation called, Handmade in Britain?
They had a great craft show in Bath just before Christmas. There was very fine work exhibited. I could see your work selling there.
I am now following you and please can I put your blog on my creative blog list?
I have also just sent you an email about your lovely little bag.
Lovely to meet you.
