Firstly I am sorry I have had to switch on comment moderation - I am getting tired of one particular commenter who just leaves rows of dots - I get several comments like this with each post I write and I am tired of deleting them.
To answer your question Jensters - re the silk carrier rods - I dye my own and then peel them apart - usually get 5 or 6 layers as I have been doing this for years - they are then soft. Hope that helps.
OK - so I am off to NY this week but must give away the giveaway :-) for post number 600
There were 18 comments on the relevant blog, using a random number generator the lucky winning number is number 8 - that's Kate North. Kate I will send you one of my pocket bags - hope you like the colour.
See you all later this month!
(In New York,
Concrete jungle where dreams are made of,
There’s nothing you can’t do,
Now you’re in New York,
these streets will make you feel brand new,
the lights will inspire you,
lets here it for New York, New York, New York)

Have a wonderful time in New York -I was able to visit last year and had the best holiday ever!
I missed visiting your stand at Urchfont last Sunday, but did get to see two of your bodices before they were packed away. Great to see them upclose.
Looking forward to seeing how the New York sites influence your new work...
best wishes
I hope that you have a lovely time in New York, somewhere I would love to visit also.
Have you tried the dyeing instructions I sent you yet?
Hope you have a brilliant time in New York Anna
Ooh - I do like the colour, it's gorgeous. And of course, I am behind as usual in reading blogs, so it was a suprise to see it in the post - thank you thank you! xx K
New York seems so far away from here: I do hope the visit is fantastic.
