Lavender and a giveaway

For the last 10 years I have been growing and harvesting lavender from one bush in my garden and today I decided it was time for this years harvest as the bush is so overgrown that it is leaning and pushing my rosemary bush down.... close up. An hour later it looked like this. I don't think it will be long before I have to replace it all together but as long as it grows and flowers it stays. There is a lot of lavender to dry. it was difficult to move in doors - I had to put it in a carrier bag but that was very full. I still have a bag of dried flowers from last year - there is only so much you can do with dried lavender. So the giveaway is a bit unusual.... it is this bag of dried lavender.. it only weighs 4 ounces but is quite large (specs for scale). if you would like this bag of dried lavender please leave a comment and it's yours. Now it's time to get back to Muse 2.
News flash -Giveaway finished - If Mosaic Magpie and Chocolate Frog would like to send me your snail mail addresses by email I will share the bag between you.

I've been dithering over an idea for lavender bags, decorated with my soluble/machine embroidered flowers. I'd love your home grown lavender to make me get on with it, and I'll send you the first creation!

I would love that lavender, Anna - it's the most gorgeous scent, isn't it?
