Last visit to Urchfont and Queen of Hearts

I have just returned from a lovely but sad few days at Urchfont Manor - it was the last time I would be with the Textiles 21 group at the manor - we have happily found an alternate venue for our next session. Whilst at Urchfont I did a lot of work as I had plenty of space - my house is still full of daughter and dog (until this weekend). Anyway - what did I do?  Well I made yet another cord - this time from torn fabric....

I laid out my three fabrics (and cords) -

cut out the Queen of Hearts jacket and started stitching it together.....

Back view....

Here I have just pinned the sleeve on to see what the three fabrics look like together -

I stitched one of my cords on all the seams,

added the 'fabric' cord for the back lacing and started adding cord hearts to the surface of the main fabric. - Loads of work done and loads more to do yet!!

Anna, this looks like a super human effort from where I sit. It is going to look spectacular. Congratulations to you. Hope you don't get two comments, having trouble with comment moderation today, must be going cross-eyed.
