Happy Mother's Day

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL MUMS AND HAPPY SPRING SUNDAY TO ALL NON MUMS!!

I am alone (which is fine) but I did get cards from my dear ones.

Thanks for all recent comments on my latest work. I am busy with the next two!! I'm sorry I don't reply personally to you but I do go to your blogs and often comment back there. I'm also sorry if yesterday's title had you excited - thinking I was planning a 'giveaway' (Purple M), perhaps I should have one soon - will have a think.
My day so far in pictures.... started with this..... does not look very nice but believe me it tastes absolutely divine..... its a prune and pineapple smoothy!! Now the decision is should I potter in the garden where the perennial sweet peas are just starting to climb, where daffodils shine, where buds are budding, where salad seeds are just germinating OR shall I stay in and tidy this workspace where I only have this much space left, where my second machine is swamped and where there is an ironing board under here somewhere - What shall I do?????

Though I love to spend time in my garden, when I have a project on the go, all I want to do is get on with it. Leave the clear up for a rainy day and stitch, it is Mothers Day.

I find too much clutter kills the creative urge although I must admit my room looks much like yours. :-)

This is so like nine. The work space always wins. Which is why I have a terrible garden.

I am so glad you showed pictures of your overcrowded and untidy workspace. Mine is just as bad if not worse and now I feel so much better - thankyou so much. I really will have to do something about it, as I can't work in such a mess, but as soon as it's tidy and I start a new project, it will be as bad again in no time at all. If the weather is nice, the garden wins every time!!

Hi Anna.
How lovely to see you on my blog, thank you so much for your encouraging comment.
For me it would be no contest, the studio wins every time. What a great creative space you have here, I always think when my studio space is tidy, nothing's hapenning and I'm in static mode, so this looks wonderfully exciting to me :-)

If the sun is shining go for the garden. At this time of year we need every little bit of sun we can get. When the clouds come and the rain poors down head inside. Later in the summer when the sun can be taken for granted it would be more of a toss up.
