SUPPORT A GOOD CAUSE....

My son is taking part in a Charity Boat Race this coming weekend - 6th September for a very worthwhile cause. They need all the sponsorship they can get ........ Please be generous, if you can. Here is the note my son sent......

Some friends and I are entering a Dragon Boat Racing Tournament at the beginning of September to raise money for the Royal Society for the Blind in Nottingham. The charity aims to promote greater independence for blind and partially sighted children and adults throughout Nottinghamshire by providing support, advice, information and rehabilitative activities. On the 6th September 19 of us will be in fancy dress, attempting to row in unison to the rhythmical beat of our star drummer. We will push ourselves to our limits and expect to get more than a little wet! If you fancy lending a hand, then come and join us in Nottingham and support - It's basically a huge picnic in the sun by the river with refreshments, food, etc, and it would be good to get a big group of fans there... Could I encourage you all to support our effort and this charity by donating on JustGiving (Safe & Secure - I'm sure you are familiar with the site)...just a fiver or something...http://www.justgiving.com/DrunkenSailorsDragonBoat Many thanks Terry Smith.

sorry that I won't be around to see this, I hope that everyone digs deep in their pockets and that the river trent isn't too wet on Sunday.

I hope it went well, Terry and I am not too late.
Just checking in Anna, as we start a new academic year. How is the new course going?
I was with my neighbour during the summer in Barford, who creates wonderful abstract art in oils I was very inspired but where to find the time to do everything?
Let me know the secret of your time management.
